Now, the city of Newburyport was restored in the 1970's back to it's original architecture from the 17-1800's. That's where I started my business journey - working at Towle Silversmiths, starting in sales and ending up as Vice President. Another industry that the city of Newburyport was noted for, starting as far back as the 1690's, was silversmithing. Newburyport has a wealth of history and is deep into the fishing and boat building industries. I married, settled there and spent most of my life there. I'm a 5th generation Bostonian and we moved to a seacoast town north of Boston at an early age, Newburyport, Mass.
